Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms govern your use of PropertyPinPoint (the “Platform”), operated by PROPERTYPINPOINT (PTY), registration number 2026/567345/07. By using the Platform you agree to these terms.
1. What the Platform does
Buyers and renters mark the areas they are interested in and describe what they are looking for. Estate agents who serve those areas and hold an active subscription can present a specific home to them. You, the buyer or renter, choose which agents to speak to — your contact details are shared with an agent only when that agent presents a specific home in an area you marked, and only one agent at a time. Sellers ask, through the Platform, to be contacted by agents working in their suburb. We are a matchmaking platform — we do not list, advertise or market property, we are not an estate agency, and we are not a party to any property transaction.
2. Using the Platform
- Buyers, renters and sellers use the Platform free of charge.
- You must provide accurate information and only submit details that are your own or that you are entitled to share.
- You may not misuse, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
3. Estate agent accounts and subscriptions
- Agent accounts may only be opened with a recognised estate-agency email domain, to protect buyers’, renters’ and sellers’ data.
- Posting and presenting homes, appearing on the buyer map, and seeing seller enquiries require an active subscription, billed monthly at R99 via our payment provider, PayFast.
- You may cancel at any time; paid features end at the close of your current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- When a buyer, renter or seller’s details are shared with you, you must use them lawfully and only to offer the relevant property service, in line with POPIA and the Property Practitioners Act. You must not contact a buyer about a home you have not genuinely presented, or pass their details to anyone else.
4. Estate agent declarations
When you create an estate agent account you confirm each of the following. We record these declarations against your account.
- You are 18 or older. Accounts may not be opened by anyone under 18.
- You hold a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC). You are registered with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) as a property practitioner, the FFC number you give us is yours and is current, and you will update it on renewal. If your FFC lapses, is suspended or is withdrawn, you must stop using the Platform and tell us at once.
- You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, including the obligations on how you handle buyers’, renters’ and sellers’ personal information.
We record the FFC number you give us. We do not verify it against the PPRA register, and displaying it on the Platform is not a representation by us that it is valid — keeping your registration current is your responsibility. We may suspend or close an account where a declaration turns out to be untrue.
5. No guarantee
We do not guarantee any matches, contact, sales, or outcomes. The Platform is provided “as is”.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, or for the conduct of any buyer, renter, seller or agent. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information under POPIA and forms part of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
